TrakCare is an electronic healthcare information system used by several NHS health boards in Scotland.
Staff who use this system can access key clinical and medicines information resources quickly through the evidence button.
It forms part of the top ribbon, and takes staff through to a list of resources and links chosen by their local board
Access is password free and resources include:
- Evidence summaries - BMJ Best Practice and DynaMed
- Right Decision Service
- Medicines information resources - BNF, BNFC, Critical Illness, Palliative Care Formulary, Stockley's Drug Interactions
- Links to local board resources and guidelines.
Please note that not all NHS boards in Scotland use TrakCare.
