The Knowledge Network redesign 1 year on

The Knowledge Network redesign is celebrating its 1st anniversary on 30th April! Since its launch there have been over 190,000 page views and more than 70,000 users visit the website.

Users have given feedback that the site design is simpler and easier to navigate. Remember, if you need to find something specific on The Knowledge Network website (like the name of a resource or information about OpenAthens) try the site search at the top right of any page.

Search for journals, eBooks and databases, plus save your searches and favourites on our Library Search.

We trained over 300 health and social care staff to use the redesigned site in the first month after it launched but we still have lots of help available for whatever you need. Whether you are a new or seasoned user, find handy videos, short guides, face to face training opportunities and links to local Library Services on our Help and Training pages.

We want to hear what you think and keep making improvements - in July 2024 we completed a usability study which provided valuable feedback and we acted on many of your suggestions and we intend to continue working to make the site as useful as possible. Look for the links at the bottom of our site pages to give us your feedback.
