CLEAR responses should not be used as a substitute for clinical judgement. Responses are compiled by information professionals based upon a search of specific pre-appraised information resources and clinical digests with the aim of providing a summary of the best available evidence on the question posed within defined time scales and working within defined protocols to support clinical decision making. CLEAR responses are not systematic reviews. Information provided by this service should not supersede local NHS polices, protocols, or national Government directives.

You can be assured that the personal details you provide when you ask a question will be kept secure and protected and will only be used to inform the evaluation of the service.  As part of the evaluation you will be contacted by the CLEAR team via email at a date in the future requesting your participation in a survey.
